The powder coating process is highly dependent on the alloy quality of the profile. For example, the copper content in alloys 6063 or 6060 must not exceed %0.1, and the Mg\/Si ratio must not be below 0.6. Furthermore, the raw material used must be homogeneous. Failure to meet these ratios can make the material more susceptible to filiform corrosion.
